Share the Dignity X Always Discreet Partnership

Did you know that 1 in 3 Aussie Women experience bladder leaks^? In addition to this, recent research from Always Discreet* revealed more than a quarter of women over 50-years-old are unable to afford their dignity by managing the health condition.

1 in 4 of these women experiencing bladder leaks are not using any protection.Instead they commonly use tissues, paper towels, toilet paper or period pads, and some women even use cloth from old clothes, tea towels or even socks. Nearly 3 in 5 say they’ve had to go without items like clothes, essential food, shampoo, or conditioner, (and even in some instances they sacrifice rent, transport, or medicine) so they can afford bladder leak protection

This is why Always Discreet is partnering with Share the Dignity, to help every Aussie Woman live their life to the fullest and not be held back, especially by bladder leaks.

For the month of June 2021, for every Always Discreet pack purchased at Woolworths or Chemist Warehouse, Always Discreet will make one donation to Share the Dignity to help us achieve our target of donating up to $75,000 worth of product.

About Share the Dignity

Share the Dignity is a national Australian charity that works to make a real, on the ground difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness, fleeing domestic violence, or doing it tough. They distribute adult incontinence and period products to women and girls who need the support around Australia. When someone is doing it tough, the last thing on their mind should be dealing with their bladder leaks or period. Share the Dignity assists those in need through collecting thousands of period products each year through collection drives and campaigns and distributes them directly to charities across Australia.
